The Refraction Philosophy

We treat a brand’s core truth as a concentrated beam of light. Our role is to act as the prism intercepting that vision and refracting it into a full spectrum of brand experiences. Refraction is the disciplined transition from strategy to tangible form. By expanding one central idea across visual, digital, and physical mediums, we ensure the original intensity is never lost. We work from insight to execution, treating every project as a unified system across brand, product, and digital. Our process is a disciplined progression: we intercept a brand’s core ambition, refract it through strategic design, and project it as a cohesive reality.

The Collective

To maintain precision and depth, we operate as a flexible collective. For every engagement, we curate a tailored team of trusted specialists designers, developers, and makers specifically chosen for the unique requirements of the work. Founder and Creative Director

Ankita is the founder and creative director of Black Prism. Her practice is rooted in branding and identity developing the visual systems that provide a brand with its core focus. An alumna of the Royal College of Art, London, her work has evolved to bridge the space between graphic logic and physical form. She treats design as a fluid transition between strategy and making, ensuring every concept is backed by a disciplined system. Black Prism reflects this balance. Work that is thoughtful, grounded, and built for real world application.
